The Fhiwada House on Gabriola Island lies in a soft and peaceful spot surrounded by majestic cedars. Full of light and peace, this beautiful log building gives a sanctuary where one can learn and heal in a fully supportive atmosphere. Much of Sa'Sen Yin work is about integrating what we know/learn to be the truth deep inside with what we actually do in our daily life. Fhiwada House is run around this basic idea....we can all live our spirituality in the most practical of ways, in normal everyday life. Being at the House reflects this; here the surroundings and teachings encourage each person to find his/her deeper inner self, at the same time we will do very normal things. Sometimes the cooking of a meal together is included as part of the shared experience of living what we know....especially our creativity!

For weekend and week-long seminars, sleeping arrangements are made at cosy and beautiful nearby bed and breakfast lodgings. Pick-up and drop-off service is provided when needed. At the Centre there are limited shared sleeping accommodations for those who don't feel the need for total privacy......we work in a relaxed and familiar atmosphere, where each person can enjoy the space to be him/herself.
Gabriola is one of the Gulf Islands, lying just 20 minutes ferry ride off of Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. A world unto itself, blessed with a temperate climate and abundant wildlife, Gabriola is a beautiful place for finding one's freedom to be oneself.
